De-soldering-peeling of paint

Possible causes

The possible causes of this particular problem can be attributed to the following:

1. Lack of adhesion of either the primer or the paint
2. Insufficient cleaning of the surface from dust and other particles
3. Absence of primer
4. Excessive thinning of primer
5. Application of the paint in extreme weather conditions (at a temperature above 35 °C)

Solution

First, the surface should be sanded and loose paint removed. This is followed by thorough cleaning of the surface from dust. Wherever necessary, the surface is plastered. Then the primer is applied, which will strengthen the adhesion of the paint. Finally, the color is applied in two layers.
