How to avoid paint sagging
Sometimes paint can appear to droop down the wall in certain areas, leaving an uneven and rough finish.

The Issue

Sometimes paint can appear to droop down the wall in certain areas, leaving an uneven and rough finish.

The Cause

The issue of sagging mainly occurs due to applying too much paint on to the surface unevenly, ‘over application’.

By applying too much paint, it’s unable to dry and results in the excess paint drooping down the wall.

The Solution

To fix an existing issue, wait until the paint is dry before sanding down the areas where the excess paint sits before cleaning and then reapplying the top coat.

To avoid this issue in the future, always ensure that an even coating is applied across the surface and is left to dry before applying a second coat.
