Updating your decorations doesn’t have to be expensive. With rust-oleum, you can create your own one-off designs.
This personalized geometric wreath looks beautiful and is endlessly adaptable too, simply change the foliage and colour as often as you like with Rust-Oleum’s range of hues and sparkling metallics.
WHAT YOU WILL NEED
- Rust-Oleum Metallic spray paint, Bright Copper
- Geometric wreath
- Craft wire
- Foliage
- Scissors
Step 1: Gather your chosen foliage and ensure it is completely dry before starting your project. Move the foliage to a well-ventilated space and place on top of a dustsheet or some old newspapers.
Step 2: Take your chosen can of Rust-Oleum spray paint (we’ve chosen Rust-Oleum Metallic in Bright Copper) and shake thoroughly. Hold the can approximately 30cm from the surface of the foliage and spray. Apply several light coats a few minutes apart. Leave to dry in a well-ventilated place.
Step 3: Once fully dry, attach your foliage to the wreath using craft wire, layering the leaves until you are happy with your design.
